NFT Vision (Never Faltering Towards Vision)
Na feel mo rin ba na parang hindi nag susuko ka na dahil yung NFTs mo hindi ganun kadami ang bumili? Or worse, parang nilangaw, ika nga, as in wala talagang bumili. Wow, after all those sweat, blood, and tears, those sleepless nights na tinapos ko yun, wala paring nag appreciate? Give up nalang kaya ako.
It Takes Time
Alam mo, normal na feeling yan. Hindi naman talaga naging madali ang pag gawa ng extraordinary na mga projects. There is a saying nga, “Rome was not built in a day.” Rome, with all its glory, did not become a big empire overnight. It was built day by day, one brick at a time. Ganun din po tayo sa ginagawa natin dito sa NFT world. Diba last na article natin ay tinalakay natin kung papano mag launch ng NFT project with our community na may long term horizon? Mindset
Yung previous article kasi is about the steps. Ngayon naman dito sa content na ito, ay kailangan nating ma remind ng importance ng patience. Kasi diba dapat long term tayo sa ating mindset? Remember na ito ay eventually pagkukunan natin ng atin bread and butter. Meaning, ito talaga ang maging pagkakakitaan natin. At least diba nasa creative world tayo. Meaning, may advantage talaga ang pagiging nasa creative world. Kasi you can express your authentic individuality. Wala ka talagang ka kompetensya kung mag fly na ang project mo.
Create; not compete.
May kasabihan nga, create; don’t compete. Kung mag compete ka, sooner or later, may mas magaling pa sa iyo, mas bata, mas bagong gadget, mas talented sa isang category. Pero kung marami ka nang followers at malaki ang community na siniserve mo, then walang makaka compete sa iyo. Ito ay dahil walang makakagaya sa iyo, kasi ikaw yan eh. Kahit gagayahin ka pa nila, hindi rin sila mag lalast, kasi mapapagod sila sa kakagaya sa iyo. Pero ikaw, hindi mapapagod, kasi you are being you.
Marathon, not a sprint.
It may seem na parang sprint nga itong ginagawa natin sa NFT world. After all, the crypto world is a high-octane pace on steroids. Pero if you think about it from a wider angle, all great things take time to build, just like what we said above about Rome. So mga ilang months ba talaga bago ako maging successful? Well not just months. It could take years. But wait, you could also start seeing results even in less than a year, but if your mindset is geared towards a longer perspective, whatever setback you may experience now, that is not a problem at all. You are here for the lang haul anyways.
Tubig Poso
Para itong tubig poso. Diba yung manual na water pump sa first na mga pump ay hindi pa lumalabas ang tubig? It may take more than 20 pumping before drops of water come out. Then if you continue the momentum, you may notice na gumagaan nalang ang pump resistance and yung tubig ay freely flowing nalang. Ganun din sa any endeavor na pinupursue natin. And we can always take great pleasure from the accomplishments. Mas masarap ang success pag pinaghirapan diba?
Car, House, Boat, Plane
Tulad ng mga high-ticket items like buying a car, a house, a boat, or a plane. Diba need muna natin mag ipon para mabili itong mga ito? This is because the value is so high, na nangangailangan talaga ng commitment before we can enjoy the benefits of owning these high-ticket purchases. In fact, kinakailangan pa nga I loan ang mga yan. Pero sulit naman, dahil yung kotse nagbibigay ng convenience, yung bahay ganun din. And kung medyo ambitious ka, siempre boat and or plane. Parang Elon Musk? LOL.
More than high-ticket purchase
Yung career mo sa NFT art world, ganun din. In fact, mas valuable pa nga sya kesa sa mga high-ticket items like car and house. Do you know why? Dahil kung isa ka nang kilalang artist, mabibili mo rin ang car, house, boat, or even plane. Oo, totoo. So kung pinagsisikapan nga ang mga high-tikcet items, why not ang pinaka career mo na magbibigay not just these material possessions, but also the satisfaction and fulfillment that you are
Pay the Price
But again, while the prospect of being successful is nice, you must not forget that there is a cost to pay. Patience is certainly the key. Then you have to work hard. You may need to forgo some partying with some friends, not watching or starting another K-drama for the next 16 episodes, or cutting back on some of your nonproductive activities, such as social media consumption. You may need to deal with your doubts and anxieties. Sometimes kinikwestyon mo rin ang path mo kung tama ba ito. Of course it’s worth it. What is your alternative? Doing repetitive and non creative work fulfilling someone else’s dream? No way!
Delayed Gratification
Ibig sabihin ba na hindi mo na maeenjoy ang few months at talagang tiisin mo ang lahat hanggang sa maging successful ka? Hindi naman. Pwede mo namang ma enjoy ang journey mo kahit hindi ka pa super successful. At least yung feeling na aligned ka sa mga values mo by pursuing a creative career ay mag cocomfort sa iyo na you are on the right path. Parang Lady Gaga lang, “You’re on the right track, baby you were born this way.” Pwede ka naman makaka earn mid term eh. Hindi naman talaga parang you slave yourself and work like a mule for the next 5 years. Patience lang talaga. And once you have assured yourself that you are taking baby steps toward your ultimate goal, then you will feel reassured.
Kaya kung feeling mo na parang mag give up ka na? kapit lang, friend. It’s always worth the wait. Remember, this is your extraordinary life waiting for you. This is your baby. Parents, especially mothers, sacrifice for their kids, from giving birth, to raising them. Then after their kids become successful, they can already take pride in all their sleepless nights. Alalahanin, Rome was not built in a day. There is always ROME for improvement. Pun intended, of course.
